How to change and edit permalink in Blogger

Permalinks are very important for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). As we know, keywords are very important for gaining traffic from search engines. 

One of the key places to target keywords is PERMALINK. If your keywords are present in the permalink it has more probability to rank higher in search engines. 

But many of us are not aware of how to insert your keywords in the permalink.

step by step guide on how to customize permalink in blogger

Step 1

As you can see below, you have the permalink tab on the right side of the blog post. Just click the permalink after you write your blog post.

Step 2

Once you click permalink you have two options for Permalink, Automatic, and Custom permalink. Automatic will give permalink once you give the title to the blog post. Now, if you want to edit and insert your keywords in the permalink, just click Custom permalink.

Step 3

Once you click custom permalink, you will have the option to edit the permalink as shown below. Now, you can insert your keywords in the permalink. Once you customize permalink, just click done. Now, you can create your own permalink with your targeted keywords.
